About Me: Hi, my friend! I'm Brie, your Health Coach from sunny Florida. After years of struggling with my own weight from thyroid issues, I was inspired to earn my Bachelor's in Nutrition & Dietetics with the hopes of learning how to best fuel healthy bodies. Shortly after, I became a Health Coach in 2018, and a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach in 2021. As your health coach, my goal is to be your biggest supporter, helping you to structure your habits and changes in a way that works best for YOU and your health. That way you can live your healthiest & fullest life, being able to enjoy each present moment.

When I'm not coaching, I'm trying to exhaust my two energetic Australian Shepherds, Eleanor and Jack. I enjoy spending any free time that I have outside, especially at the beach or cooking & recipe developing. In recent years, I've become an avid marathon runner, recently time-qualifying for the Chicago Marathon in fall. Wish me luck!

Why I'm Excited to Be a Virta Health Coach: Despite being a lifelong athlete and a health coach, my journey with health hasn't exactly been straightforward. For decades, I battled with my weight thanks to Hashimoto's and a long list of diets, some too embarrassing to admit. I've learned that achieving lasting health is about more than just effort. My own struggles and experiences have provided me a deep appreciation for helping others discover their own path to wellness & health. The feeling of good health & confidence is life changing, and I hope to help others find that too. Together, we'll aim to create habits that are easy & sustainable. Changes don't have to be massive to be effective, just consistent. You got this!

Fun Fact: When I'm not supporting your goals at Virta, I'm leading workouts at Orangetheory! Basically, I'm Coach Brie 24/7.
